Latin Patriarchate Delivers Over 1,500 Tons of Humanitarian Aid to Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem

Jerusalem – The Latin Patriarchate announced that it successfully delivered more than 1,500 tons of humanitarian aid between November 2024 and October 2025, as part of a continuous effort to support populations affected by the war and harsh living conditions.

This was highlighted in a detailed report issued by the Latin Patriarchate in November 2025, which reviewed the scale of financial assistance raised following the humanitarian appeal launched to alleviate the suffering of individuals in Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem. The report stated that approximately 200,000 people benefited from these efforts in the regions.

Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, said: “In these times, we have experienced as a Church that mutual trust opens our eyes to see reality in a constructive and positive way. When trust is absent, our eyes close and we lose the ability to make sound judgments. The trust born amid tragedies has made us realize that we are called not only to care for others but also to be like the little ones of the Gospel.”
