Taybeh – Nabd ElHaya – A high-level delegation from the Czech Republic visited the Caritas Medical Center in Taybeh, east of Ramallah, on Tuesday. The visit aimed to learn about the healthcare and social services provided by the center to local residents, and to gain an overview of the work carried out by Caritas Jerusalem in the Holy Land.

Taybeh – Nabd Al-Haya – Father Bashar Fawadleh, priest of the Latin Parish of Christ the Redeemer in Taybeh, received an official delegation from the Czech Republic to review the parish’s activities, educational and media initiatives, and to gain firsthand insight into daily life in the town.

Jerusalem – Nabd ElHayat – The Latin Patriarchate in Jerusalem, in an official statement, announced an exceptional initiative on the occasion of the approaching conclusion of the Jubilee Year.

Taybeh, Palestine – Sanad Sahelia, Nabd ElHaya – Father Bashar Fawadleh, pastor of the Latin Church of Christ the Redeemer in Taybeh, welcomed a delegation representing the Papal Mission and the Knights of Columbus in a visit titled “Mission of Hope and Solidarity,” aimed at expressing support and hope to the local Christian community in this historic town.

On Thursday, September 4th, 2025, H.B. Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, welcomed to the Patriarchate Mr. Joachim Herrmann, The Bavarian State Minister of the Interior, for Sport and Integration in Munich, Germany and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, H.B. the Cardinal shared his reflections on the current circumstances and the situation of Christians in the Diocese of Jerusalem during these challenging times.

The ongoing violence in the Holy Land, especially now with the war in Gaza, was addressed by the Latin patriarch of Jerusalem, Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, in his homily during the solemnity of the Assumption of Mary.
